For Those Who Are Interested in Studying at SU

Research Students

1. Research Student Program

Research students are those who wish to conduct their major fields of study under the academic advisors. No credit and degree is given to the students through this program.

As Saitama University does not offer Japanese language courses, international students must be able to understand lectures and instructions in Japanese prior to admission. Admitted research students are required to have a clear goal and plan not only for the research, but also for finances (they should not expect to rely on part-time jobs to make a living).
