The Japan-Korea Joint Government Scholarship Program for the Students in Science and Engineering Departments

This program, based on the Japan-Korea Joint Statement (1998), accepts Korean high school students in the faculties of science and engineering at national universities in Japan.
Saitama University has accepted 25 students since this program was inaugurated in October 2000. The International Student Center, in close cooperation with the Faculties of Science and Engineering, offers six months of preparatory education in Japanese, English and basic science courses.
